Matt has spent the last decade leading sustainability in various financial institutions, with experience ranging from regulation, climate risk, and carbon accounting, to social impact and stakeholder engagement. He is a trusted advisor to various industry bodies, standard setters, and policy groups on net zero, climate strategy, decarbonising the built environment, sustainable data solutions, and support for SMEs. Matt also serves as a NED and venture advisor to climate tech and sustainable finance start-ups, and is the Financial & Tax Incentives Lead for the “Don’t Waste Buildings” engagement group for the productive use of empty and underperforming buildings.
