Hugh helped form Eckersley O’Callaghan’s facade engineering group in 2012 and has had a leading role in the team since. Originally from a structural and civil engineering background, he brings holistic knowledge of buildings and their envelope, preaching the ‘specialist generalist’ model for facade engineering. With a back catalogue of well over one hundred projects at a variety of scales, Hugh has a breath of experience across different markets, design challenges, materials and systems and is adept at rationalising complexity on landmark projects.
